As you prepare to welcome a little one into the world, I know you’re looking forward to every snuggle, grin, and giggle. But even after having three kiddos of me I own, I can’t believe how those first months fly by! In the blink of an eye, those little baby toes are going to be kicking soccer balls and climbing trees! So, let’s document your baby’s first months of life through a newborn session!
And don’t worry! I’ll walk you through every step of the journey! You won’t have to stress about choosing the perfect location, outfit, or pose. I’ve got you covered. I’ll even schedule in extra time in case your baby is feeling a little fussy on the day of our session! Together, we will craft a custom session that is perfect for you and your little one, but every session includes:

Q: How long after our little one arrives should we schedule our session?
A: The best time for a newborn session is between four and eight weeks after your baby is born. That way, you’ve had a little time to recover, but your new baby is still in that precious newborn phase!
Q: What should our baby wear?
A: The options are endless! But I’d recommend choosing an outfit that’s a size smaller than what you’d normally dress them in. It’s also a good idea to choose something with a bit of stretch. This makes the outfit look well-fitted in the photos. I’d also recommend choosing a swaddle ahead of time if you’re hoping to take a cozy, bundled photo.
Q: Can we invite our parents to come give us a hand during the session?
A: Of course! I’d love to meet the new grandparents! I’ve also found they are so helpful during sessions, so by all means, invite them to join in on the fun.
Q: What if our baby isn’t on a schedule yet?
A: That’s OK! As a mom myself, I know how unpredictable this time in life can be! I’ll send you a guide before the session with some tips to help us navigate that, but ultimately, we will follow your baby’s lead.
Q: This sounds great! How soon will I get to see my images?
A: Just a few days after your session, I’ll send some sneak peeks your way, and less than a month after your session, you’ll receive your full gallery to treasure and enjoy!
